Our Story
GreenByte Technologies was founded in 2016 by a team of environmental scientists and software engineers who saw a critical gap: organizations wanted to improve their sustainability performance but lacked the technology to measure, understand, and act on environmental data effectively.
Starting from our headquarters in Norwich, we set out to build a platform that would bridge the divide between environmental ambition and technological capability. Our founding belief was simple — that intelligent software could unlock massive sustainability improvements across every industry.
Today, GreenByte serves over 500 enterprise clients across 12 countries, helping them collectively reduce over 1 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually. Our platform has evolved from a basic energy monitoring tool into a comprehensive sustainability technology ecosystem that integrates IoT, AI, and advanced analytics.
We remain headquartered in Norwich, with a growing team of 85 professionals who share our passion for combining technological excellence with environmental responsibility.
